1. The service

Wired Business is a directory of startups and business websites. Submitting a website lists it publicly with a link to your site. Free listings include a dofollow link from Wired Business; featured (paid) listings are published immediately.

2. Eligibility & acceptable use

Any website may be submitted, provided its content is lawful. We do not accept websites promoting illegal activity, gambling-related spam, or content that violates these terms. We may reject or remove any listing at our discretion.

3. Your responsibilities

• You confirm you own the website you submit and have the right to list it;
• Free listings require a backlink to wired.business (badge or link) on your homepage or footer, and the link must remain in place while the listing is live;
• Descriptions may be generated with AI — you can edit them with your edit link before and after publication.

4. Payments & refunds

Featured listings are paid via Stripe (merchant of record), with taxes included in the listed price. A paid listing can be refunded if it has not gone live yet. Once a listing is live, the purchase is final and non-refundable.

5. Our rights

We may remove, edit or reject any listing that violates these terms, and we do not guarantee specific search rankings, placement or traffic. We are not liable for any loss arising from the use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
